The 2023 Annual Scientific Meeting for the United States Association for the Study of Pain (USASP) will be April 11-14, 2023 at the Washington Duke Inn in Durham, North Carolina. The theme of this year’s conference is From Bench to Bedside to Population: Translational Pain Science Approaches for the Whole Person.

Submission deadline November 10, 2022 – USASP Annual Scientific Meeting Call for Symposia Submission Information
Symposia should encompass topics related to clinical practice, basic science or mechanisms, and translational research related to pain and ideally presentations include multiple disciplines (e.g., including two or more presentations representing one or both clinical and/or basic science disciplines). Applications typically have 3 speakers, and should justify the number of speakers if deviating from this number. Ideally the panel represents different institutions and span perspectives, including career stage, disciplines, and translation.

USASP is actively seeking to increase the diversity of our attendees and speakers. We aim to create an inclusive, respectful conference environment that invites participation from people of all races, ethnicities, genders, ages, abilities, religions, and sexual orientations. Therefore, symposium proposals that include at least one speaker from underrepresented and/or disadvantaged backgrounds will be considered as a favorable factor in the review process.

Research Abstracts Deadline: January 13, 2023
