2025 PMC Steering Committee Annual Meeting

The Pain Management Collaboratory (PMC) Steering Committee held its annual in person meeting in Bethesda, MD on May 6 and 7, 2025.  More than 60 attendees including Veteran partners, representatives from the National Institutes of Health, Department of Defense, and Department of Veterans Affairs, as well as PMC principal investigators, and leadership of the PMC Coordinating Committee participated in this two-day event. This meeting provided the opportunity for PMC trial investigators to reveal early findings from their pragmatic clinical trials and established a forum for shared learning and discussion of ongoing and future opportunities. Presentations of our work and subsequent discussions at the meeting set the tone for advancement in the field of pain science, and the implementation of effective nonpharmacological approaches for the management of pain and common co-occurring medical and mental health conditions delivered in Veteran and military health settings.  Stay tuned for future updates on the progress of the Collaboratory.
